Specializing in the treatment of Shoulder and Elbow injuries and disease.

The shoulder and elbow are at risk for a wide range of musculoskeletal problems, including fractures, arthritis, and sports related injuries. When functioning normally, the shoulder and elbow allow for simple movements like scratching your back, as well as more complex activities such as throwing the perfect pitch. However, when pain arises, it may be a sign of a significant problem requiring an orthpaedic evaluation.

As an orthopaedic surgeon, I strive to provide my patients with the highest quality of musculoskeletal care. I feel my job is to act as a consultant, offering the most up to date and scientifically supported treatment methods available, thereby empowering my patients to make the best decisions based on their personal goals. Surgery is not always indicated and in many cases, non-invasive interventions can eliminate pain and restore normal function. However, in those instances where surgery is necessary, I believe succesful outcomes are based on sound clinical assessment combined with a caring, multidisciplinary approach..
